What customers say?

“ Yoyogi Milk Hall is a great little shop tucked away on the 2nd floor of a building across from Yoyogi station west exit. I've been coming here for awhile now, but today was my first time to come since the recent menu renewal. It's great to see that the atmosphere remains a great retro vibe. The new food menu is tasty and the prices are very reasonable. If you come, try some of the creative and fun drinks. The Ruby Ring is especially recommended! Enjoy this local favourite spot! ”

“ Randomly found this place when googling “Showa Retro Bar”. The wall is decorated with city pop album covers, and that’s also all the music they play. I found it very enjoyable and the staff was very nice as well. The drinks were cheap and they have a lot of snacks like potato chips on their menu as well. Fun place! ”

- Sabrina Horak -

“ Probably one of my favorite izakayas I've been to so far. Staples and unique food as well as a wide array of unique drinks. The vibes are immaculate, they play a lot of 80s Japanese hits and songs I recognized as a retro anime fan. I especially enjoyed the 'addictive egg', which had a soft inner yolk and umami sauce. The bar food is very reasonably priced as well. ”

“ If you like Japanese retropop/showa era/citypop, This is the Izakaya for you. Small place with 7" singles all over the walls. This sets the mode the moment you step in to this place. The food and drinks are really good and the service is spot on, come here to listen to good music and relax. The friendly staff will take good care of you. Me and my wife will definitely come back next time we're in the area. ”

“ A relaxed, low-key Tokyo spot packed with locals unwinding with food after work. We enjoyed the pork katsu on rice, and the place had a unique, lively vibe. ”

“ Yoyogi milk hall is unlike any place I’ve been, the atmosphere is so good and you can watch your food being cooked by the staff at the stations in the middle They play very old Japanese songs and the whole restaurant walls are full of last gen singers photos, even in the toilets! Food wise there’s an extensive menu and we got to try many of them. Really recommend this place to bring your friends to ”
